Description

Our client, the U.S.'s largest commercial real estate services firm, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support operations at a pharmaceutical manufacturing and office facility in Pleasant Prairie, WI . This contract-to-hire position is ideal for a maintenance professional with commercial or industrial experience who enjoys troubleshooting building systems, performing preventive maintenance, and working in a collaborative team environment. This is a Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm position with the opportunity to join a growing site supporting a state-of-the-art facility.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance on commercial and industrial building systems and equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general facility equipment
• Complete fit and finish work, including minor repairs and facility improvements
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and address issues before they become larger problems
• Respond to maintenance work orders and document completed work within the CMMS system
• Assist with the installation, modification, and replacement of building equipment and systems
• Support energy efficiency initiatives by ensuring equipment is operating properly
• Inspect building systems for compliance with applicable safety standards and regulations
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow maintenance team members regarding repairs and ongoing projects
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following all company safety procedures
• Perform additional maintenance duties and facility projects as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or apprenticeship program preferred
• Approximately 5 years of commercial or industrial maintenance experience
• Experience performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting building systems
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance
• Experience working in commercial, industrial, manufacturing, or similar facilities
• Ability to utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and email
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a larger maintenance team
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical maintenance duties including standing, climbing, walking, and working from ladders

Preferred Qualifications:

• OSHA 10 Construction certification
• Experience in pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or other highly regulated environments
• Trade school education or formal apprenticeship
• Experience supporting preventive maintenance programs using a CMMS
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across multiple building systems
