RN - ICU


Job Details:


• 13-week contract assignment
• 12-hour night shifts with every weekend schedule (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week (not applicable during orientation week)
• Holiday rotation required with observed holidays including New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day
• Must be willing to float to Aspirus Stevens Point, Plover, and Riverview locations
• No on-call or call-back requirements; additional shifts may be available for sick call coverage
• Case mix includes medical and surgical patients such as joint replacements and general surgical patients
• 11-bed unit for specialized patient care
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required along with Med/Surg experience
• Travel experience required
• Must be ICU and Med/Surg competent
• Must reside outside of 50 miles from the facility
• Will not accommodate more than 7 days of requested time off
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, Wisconsin RN license (AHA or ARC certifications required)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Scrub color requirement: Dark blue
• Ideal candidate is a hard worker, resilient, manages change well, social, assertive, confident in skills, and a team player

This facility is a full-service community hospital offering a wide range of medical and surgical services to the surrounding region. The medical/surgical ICU provides specialized critical care for both medical and surgical patients, including joint replacement and general surgical cases. The facility is part of a larger health system with multiple locations, providing staff with opportunities to work collaboratively across a network of care settings.
