Electrical Design Engineer

Location : West Chester, OH

Pay : $80k/yr

Requirements:

Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and AutoCAD for creating electrical and production drawings
Experience developing PLC ladder logic and HMI interfaces for industrial systems
Strong understanding of engineering standards, schematics, and electrical design principles
Ability to interpret customer specifications, technical documents, and engineering drawings
Excellent analytical and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities:

Create submittal, working, and production drawings based on engineering standards and customer specifications
Gather and analyze project data to ensure accurate design and proper product assembly
Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), including part number assignment for internal use
Determine and document equipment selection, mounting dimensions, and clearance requirements in compliance with National Electrical Code and company procedures
Design electrical schematics, panel layouts, and system components, including PLC programming and HMI development for project-specific applications
