We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our Culinary Department at Madison House! Full‑time opportunity! Earn between $27 and $30/hour, dependent on experience. Day Shift available! Tuesdays - Saturdays, 11 AM - 7:30 PM. The Cook’s role is preparing and serving attractive and tasty meals for the community. What You’ll Do Ensure food is prepared in a nutritional, appetizing fashion and presented attractively per the menu and schedule Properly store, date and rotate food per food‑handling guidelines Keep the environment safe and clean Follow kitchen cleaning schedule Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Candidates applying must have completed an approved Dietary Manager’s Course or possess a ServSafe Food Handler’s certificate (Candidates without ServSafe will be considered but must receive the certificate within the first 30 days of employment) All state requirements related to food‑handler certificates Knowledge of food preparation, production and plate presentation Must be drug‑free and submit to drug screening upon hire and routinely Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations Knowledge of special dietary needs About Koelsch Communities We are third‑generation, family‑owned, and operated.
