The Dialysis RN is responsible for overseeing and providing dialysis treatments for patients experiencing acute or chronic kidney failure , as ordered by the physician. The RN will monitor patients throughout treatment, assess for changes in condition, respond appropriately to complications, and ensure safe, effective dialysis care. The RN collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinates discharge planning, provides patient and family education, and connects patients with appropriate community resources. Current RN license in the state of employment Previous dialysis nursing experience is required Experience providing dialysis care to patients with acute and/or chronic kidney failure Current BLS certification Current ACLS certification is preferred upon hire and required within 90 days of employment ACLS is required from Day 1 for all Charge Nurses, High Observation, and ICU positions Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC) certification is preferred but not required Strong clinical assessment, critical‑thinking, and patient‑care skills Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team We can help you obtain your ACLS certification! #J-18808-Ljbffr
