Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for a 12-hour night shift position in an Intermediate/Step Down unit specializing in Pulmonary Thoracic care. This is a temporary assignment for a duration of 13 weeks.

Shift Details

• Shift Type: 12-hour Nights
• Schedule: Varies between 7 PM to 7 AM
• Duration: 13 Weeks

Responsibilities

The RN will provide care to a diverse patient population, including:

• Intermediate medical patients with high-risk respiratory and cardiac conditions
• Patients recovering from thoracic, hepatobiliary, and head/neck surgeries
• Patients on high-flow oxygen therapies including RA, BIPAP, or Optiflow

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a relevant specialty
• Certifications:
  
  
  • Required: AHA BLS & ACLS
  • Preferred: NIHSS

Holiday Expectations

The RN must be available to work 2 major holidays out of the following 3:

• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Day
• New Year's Day

Additionally, the RN must work 1 minor holiday, selected from:

• The Friday after Thanksgiving
• Christmas Eve
• New Year's Eve
