Job Description
Are you a skilled endodontist who loves solving complex cases and helping patients find relief from pain? We're looking for an Endodontist to join our team and bring specialized expertise in root canal therapy and other endodontic treatments to our patients. If you enjoy precision work, have a steady hand, and want to be part of a tight-knit practice that genuinely cares about your growth, we'd love to meet you. You'll work alongside experienced dental professionals to deliver top-notch endodontic care, all while creating a positive and comfortable experience for patients who might be a little nervous about their visit. We're big on mentorship here, so you'll have plenty of support as you sharpen your skills and take on new challenges.
What You'll Be Doing
- Examining patients and reviewing their dental and medical histories to fully understand their oral health needs
- Diagnosing issues related to the tooth pulp and nerves, and creating treatment plans tailored to each case
- Performing root canal therapy, retreatments, apicoectomies, and other endodontic procedures with precision and care
- Reading X-rays, CBCT scans, and other diagnostic tests to guide your treatment decisions
- Helping patients understand their treatment options and easing any anxiety about the procedure
- Prescribing medications when needed, following all applicable regulations
- Collaborating with general dentists and other specialists to coordinate patient care
- Keeping accurate, up-to-date patient records in line with privacy and regulatory standards
- Following proper sterilization and infection control practices throughout the office
- Working closely with dental assistants and front-office staff to keep things running smoothly
- Jumping into mentorship opportunities and ongoing learning to keep growing your skills
- Staying in the loop on new techniques, materials, and technology in endodontics
What We're Looking For
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school, plus completion of an accredited endodontics residency program
- Active, valid dental license in good standing as required by the state of practice
- Board certification or eligibility in endodontics is a plus
- Solid clinical skills across a range of endodontic procedures, including complex and retreatment cases
- Great communication skills, both with patients and referring dentists
- An eye for detail and a real commitment to quality, patient-centered care
- Good time-management skills to juggle a busy, varied schedule
- Comfort with dental practice software, digital imaging, and CBCT technology is a plus
- A professional approach to patient confidentiality and safety standards
- An eagerness to learn and grow, with openness to mentorship along the way
What You'll Get
- A clear path for career growth, with room to build new skills and take on more responsibility
- The chance to grow into a leadership role down the road in a small, close-knit practice
- Real mentorship from experienced professionals who want to see you succeed
- A supportive, collaborative team that actually enjoys working together
- A caseload that keeps things interesting and rewarding
- A warm, welcoming environment where you can build a career you're excited about
Whether you're just starting out in endodontics or looking for a fresh environment to keep growing, this role offers the support, flexibility, and opportunity to build a career you'll love.
