The role is responsible for reviewing consumer loan applications to determine consistent and effective compliance with policy, procedures, and regulatory compliance at American Airlines Credit Union. What you'll doComplie and track new loan performance for lending staff to monitor the integrity of funded loans and effectively communicate findings with appropriate staff and managementMake recommendations for enhancing quality assurance checks when system changes are madeAnalyze loan application trends that indicate the need for underwriting changes or clarificationAnalyze loan applications for the possibility of fraudMonitor account and loan pipeline complianceMonitor exception reports to ensure integrity of data during the life of the loanReconcile Loan and Title suspense general ledger accountsMake recommendations for training and procedural improvements in an effort to prevent future errorsMake recommendations to enhance consumer lending policies, procedures and underwriting guidelinesAssist with special projectsServe as backup for New Account Quality Assurance representativesPerform other duties as assignedthe selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.All you'll need for successMinimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience​High School diploma or GED equivalentPreferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience​Bachelor's degree in Business or another field relevant to the position, or equivalent relevant industry experiencePrevious banking or Credit Union experienceTwo years of Loan Officer experienceSkills, Licenses & Certifications​Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the softwareKnowledge of Credit Union systemsAbility to proactively identify opportunities for improvement to minimize variations from policy or proceduresProficient in research, analytical, interpersonal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and with minimal supervisionAbility to interact with all levels of management and staffAbility to perform in a fast paced environment, handle multiple tasks and function as an integral part of a teamAbility to maintain satisfactory performance and attendanceAbility to pass applicable American Airlines and Credit Union pre-hire compliance checksWhat you'll getFeel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer: Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
