Job Summary:
Mother/Baby Couple Care Registered Nurse - Location unspecified. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for postpartum mothers and their newborns. The RN will coordinate care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards, ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of both patients and their infants. The role emphasizes collaboration with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care during the mother/baby hospitalization period.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, or a temporary/interim RN license or compact RN licensure for the current state of practice. BLS certification is required. Experience is preferred but not explicitly required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing is preferred. Additional related education and/or experience is advantageous.
• Additional Information: The RN will provide direct patient care to postpartum mothers and their newborns, including assessments, patient education, discharge planning, and coordination with the medical and support staff. The position requires adherence to established policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.
