Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:00–07:30) | Onsite | 36 or 48 hour weeks available | Up to 26 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on Medical Surgical units serving a mix of medical patients, including ortho/neurovascular, cardio/pulmonary, GI, urology, and surgical populations
• Maintain a staffing ratio of 1:5–6 patients on nights; ratios may flex to 7–8 with LPN support as needed
• Float to other Med Surg units based on facility need, typically approximately once per week
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, LPNs, and Techs
• Adhere to every-other-weekend scheduling requirement
• Participate in facility orientation during the first two weeks of assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN License required
• BLS certification (AHA) required (candidates willing to obtain prior to start may be considered)
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg experience required
• Must be available for orientation during the first two weeks of assignment
• Must be willing to work with a variety of staff (RNs, LPNs, Techs)
• Locals are welcome and accepted; no radius restrictions apply for this role

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of Medical Surgical experience preferred
• Experience floating across multiple Med Surg units
• Familiarity with ortho/neurovascular, cardio/pulmonary, or surgical patient populations
