Network Administrator - Senior

Job Description Everforth ECS is seeking a Network Administrator - Senior to work in Fairfax, Virginia. Please note: this position is contingent upon contract award. Responsibilities Administer and maintain enterprise telecommunications and network infrastructure to ensure DoDIN connectivity and secure transport services. Manage routing and switching configurations, ensuring alignment with approved baselines. Implement firmware and security updates in accordance with STIG and cybersecurity guidelines. Monitor device health and performance metrics, ensuring optimal network operation. Coordinate response activities for network outages and facilitate timely restoration. Ensure compliance with DoDIN operational directives and configuration management controls. Analyze network traffic to identify and resolve potential issues proactively. Collaborate with team members to enhance network security and operational efficiency. Required Qualifications Clearance: Secret Eligible required. U.S. citizenship required. DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 441-Network Operations Specialist at the Advanced proficiency level. Certifications (one or more required): SecurityX / CASP+, CCNA, CCNP Security, CCSP, GCED, GCIA, GCLD, GDSA, GFACT. Education: Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in administering and sustaining enterprise telecommunications and network infrastructure within DoD or Federal environments. Proven experience supporting DoDIN connectivity and secure transport services. Demonstrated ability to maintain routing and switching configurations and implement approved baselines. Experience applying firmware and security updates in compliance with STIG guidance. Desired Qualifications Clearance: Active Secret preferred. Familiarity with ARNG and DoD enterprise network environments. Experience in network traffic analysis and performance metric monitoring. Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to coordinate outage response activities effectively. Knowledge of DoDIN operational directives and configuration management controls.
