Private Wealth Management: Portfolio Manager

Role Description The Private Wealth Management: Portfolio Manager is a full-time, on-site with a hybrid role based in the Delaware Valley region of Philadelphia. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring customized investment portfolios that align with client objectives, risk tolerance, and time horizons. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market and securities research, executing trades, rebalancing portfolios, and managing risk across asset classes and strategies. The Portfolio Manager will collaborate closely with advisors to develop comprehensive wealth management plans, incorporating tax-efficient solutions, alternative investments, and hedging strategies as appropriate. The role also involves preparing portfolio reviews, presenting performance and recommendations to clients, and maintaining strong client relationships through proactive communication and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and market trends.
• Solid foundation in finance, including understanding of capital markets, asset allocation, and risk management principles.
• Proven experience in portfolio management and investments, with a track record of constructing and overseeing diversified portfolios.
• Knowledge of trading practices and execution, including order types, liquidity considerations, and regulatory requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, MS Finance) or professional designations (CFA, CFP) are preferred.
• Experience in private wealth management or high-net-worth client advisory, including familiarity with tax-efficient and alternative investment strategies.
• Excellent quantitative, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in clear, client-friendly terms.
• High ethical standards, sound judgment, and a commitment to regulatory compliance and fiduciary responsibility.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and build long-term client relationships.
