Schedule: 13-week assignment (longer contracts available); variable self-scheduling with 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period; 48-hour shifts approved; no on-call required

Highlights:

• Work in a 181-bed Children's Hospital and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with a 43-bed Level IV NICU
• Patient ratios of 1:2-4 with a daily census of approximately 35 neonates
• Epic charting system with 12 hours of orientation provided
• Flexible self-scheduling model; open to extended contracts beyond 13 weeks
• Comprehensive case mix including prematurity, respiratory distress, hypoglycemia, sepsis, surgical cases (all subspecialties except cardiac), and HIE
• Free parking in unrestricted spaces with bike racks available

Requirements:

• Active Compact RN license (must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
• Level III NICU experience strongly preferred (Level IV unit)
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with patient ratios of 2-4 patients
• Proficiency in advanced NICU skills including high-frequency ventilation, therapeutic hypothermia, umbilical line management, and Level IV NICU care
• Ability to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
