SVNA Home Assistance | $20–$23 per hour | Per Diem Immediate Openings – Morning & Evening Shifts – Ongoing Care SVNA Home Assistance is looking for dependable, compassionate, and experienced CNAs, PCAs, and Caregivers to join our growing team! We are currently seeking caregivers for a male client in Winsted, CT, who requires hands-on personal care and assistance with a Hoyer lift. Prior Hoyer lift experience is required for this assignment. Current Shifts Available – Winsted, CT Morning Shift: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM Evening Shift: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM Ongoing coverage needed: We are looking for caregivers to consistently cover both morning and evening shifts. Weekend availability is strongly preferred. Applicants may be interested in morning shifts, evening shifts, or both. These are ongoing client care needs, and we are looking for reliable caregivers who can provide the consistency our clients deserve. What You Can Expect Working With SVNA At SVNA Home Assistance, we understand that everyone's schedule and availability are different. Our per diem model allows you to tell us what days and hours you are available to work , and our scheduling team works to match you with clients who need care during those times. While we cannot guarantee a specific number of hours each week, we have ongoing opportunities for caregivers looking to build their schedules. A few important things to know about scheduling: All client visits have a 3-hour minimum . Depending on your desired hours, you may need to work multiple client shifts throughout the day to build a fuller schedule. Our scheduling team makes every effort to arrange shifts close together to allow for easier transitions between clients. Consistent availability helps us establish recurring schedules for both caregivers and clients. Weekend availability provides additional opportunities for shifts. Scheduling flexibility is based on available client needs and is not a guarantee of specific shifts or weekly hours. Job Responsibilities Depending on the client's needs, responsibilities may include: Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other personal care needs. Safely assisting with transfers, including use of a Hoyer lift. Providing companionship and emotional support. Helping with meal preparation and light housekeeping. Assisting with mobility and daily routines. Providing transportation to appointments, errands, or outings when requested and authorized. Maintaining a safe, comfortable environment for clients. Communicating client concerns and changes in condition to the office. Qualifications Previous caregiving experience as a CNA, PCA, or personal care aide preferred. Hands-on Hoyer lift experience required for the current Winsted assignment. Experience providing personal care and assisting clients with limited mobility. Dependable transportation and a valid driver's license. Ability to pass required background screening and drug testing. Strong communication skills, professionalism, and reliability. Willingness to provide consistent care and follow established client schedules. Weekend availability strongly preferred. Compensation & Employment Pay: $20.00–$23.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Employment Type: Per Diem / W-2 Employee Location: Winsted, CT, with additional client opportunities throughout our service area. Available Shifts: Morning, evening, and weekends.
