About the Position

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Telemetry Unit – Texas**Start Date:** September 21, 2026**Location:** Austin, Texas**Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants**Schedule:** Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 13-week assignment, every other weekend required, no call

• 34-bed private telemetry unit with 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio on night shift

• Meditech EMR system with GE Telemetry and Pyxis medication management
• Diverse patient population including cardiac, respiratory, and post-procedure care
• 13-week contract assignment with structured scheduling
• Opportunity to float to Med Surg, Med Surg Telemetry, and ED holding areas

Requirements:

• Current Texas RN license or compact state license
• BLS/CPR certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills (required)
• Respiratory management experience with advanced airways and oxygen management
• Experience with cardiac drips (non-titrated)
• Experience with procedures such as stress tests, heart catheterization, CABG, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and chest tubes preferred
• ALS certification preferred
