Join us!The RoleLegends seeks a responsible and detail-oriented Sr. Accountant responsible for capturing, assessing, and communicating statistical data pertinent to the success of the operation. The Sr. Accountant will be the subject matter expert for all financial, operational, and risk management metrics through data reporting, assessment, and analytics.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesParticipate in month-end close activities including the preparation and review of journal entries and review of budget-to-actual reportsPrepare and review monthly reconciliations of assigned balance sheet accounts and ensure that general ledger accounts are reconciled with resolution to reconciling itemsMore complicated work can include consolidations of domestic and foreign entitiesReconcile general ledgers, post journal entries, and assist with preparations of financial statementsAccruals, fixed-assets, revenue recognition & variance analysisReconcile intercompany accounts and post eliminating journal entriesSubstantiate financial transactions by auditing documents. Verify and analyze business records, transactions, and proceduresPrepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliation for assigned general ledger accounts and balance sheetsPrepare schedules for quarterly reviews and year-end audit for independent external auditors.
