This role offers a 9/80 hybrid schedule with two days required on-site at the Irving, TX office. The selected individual will report to the Manager of Accounts Payable and will utilize SAP S4 and OpenText to support Accounts Payable Benefits AP functions in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, Company Policies and Procedures, Disclosure Statements, Government Regulations and HIPPA as they relate to our Accounts Payable Tasks.Primary responsibilities include:Utilize SAP S4 and OpenText to accurately and timely process Benefits AP invoicesTake ownership of assigned Benefits AP Vendors and related activitiesSupport Benefits AP Team Members as neededPerform accounting activities in accordance with HIPAA / Fiduciary Training, GAAP, FAR, and Corporate ProceduresApply analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve vendor inquiriesOperate independently while providing exceptional customer serviceDevelop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexitySupport weekly payment reporting, postings, and processing requirements Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writingMultitask and work independently to meet Service Delivery AgreementsDemonstrate strong attention to detail and an accounting orientation, meeting deadlines with excellent time managementEffectively organize and prioritize work to meet Statement of Work requirementsSupport internal and external audit requests as neededPerform other duties as assigned.The following characteristics will be necessary to excel in this role:Strong attention to detail and accounting orientation, meeting deadlines, ability to multi-task and time managementProblem-solving; organizing and prioritizing work demands in order to meet critical deadlinesBusiness AcumenBasic Qualifications:High School Diploma and 3 – 5 years accounting experienceIntermediate skills in Excel and thorough knowledge of other Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and OutlookExperience in customer serviceExperience in working within GAAP and SOX RequirementsAbility to work on-site at the Irving, TX office two days per weekPreferred Qualifications:Associate's Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or related Business Field3 to 5 years accounting experienceSAP S4 ExperienceExperience in a Financial Shared Service environmentAdvanced Excel skillsPrimary Level Salary Range: $50,900.00 - $84,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
