Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active South Carolina PT license or ability to obtain state licensure prior to start. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred. (Preferred only.) Ability to meet productivity expectations: approximately 60 visits per week and 12–14 patients per clinical day; double-booking of follow-up visits expected. Availability to float to other clinics as needed. OT (overtime) must be approved by clinic director before working additional hours. Must be able to work a guaranteed 36 hours with expectation to work up to 40 hours.

Preferred Qualifications

Greater than 3 years of relevant outpatient experience preferred (PT Level 2). Experience working in a travel team model or covering neighboring clinics is preferred. Experience managing a high outpatient caseload and double-booking workflow.

Assignment Details

Position: Physical Therapist in outpatient orthopedic clinic, Sumter, SC. Float to other clinics required. Option to work in this clinic or a neighboring clinic as part of a travel team. Guaranteed 36 hours per week with expectation to work up to 40 hours; productivity expectation ~60 visits/week.
