Speech Language Pathologist

Position Title: Speech Language Pathologist - Rehab Services, Gage Park Type: Full Time Shift: Day Shift – 8am-4:30pm Compensation: $75,000-$112,000 annually The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles. We provide Rehabilitation Services, including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy, at the main hospital as well as multiple outpatient clinics. This full‑time outpatient position offers flexible days and hours, time off and reimbursement for CEUs, licensure renewal, and mentorship for new graduates. We pride ourselves on treating patients 1:1 with no patient overlap for the full 1‑hour session. In addition to having an open‑door policy, we encourage a good work/life balance. Position Summary Evaluate and treat patients using the principles and practices of occupational therapy in accordance with the patient's age, developmental level, and diagnosis. Assist clinical manager with administrative duties as assigned. Responsibilities Evaluate patients, conduct diagnostic evaluations, establish goals and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide direct patient treatment based on current speech and language pathology practice and revise treatment plan based on the patient's response. Provide counseling and education (as necessary) to patients and families regarding patients' abilities and needs for assistance and continued therapeutic intervention. Consult with physicians on patient's evaluations, progress, and complications with treatment. Maintain medical and departmental records according to department policies and procedures. Communicate with other professional staff and the patient's family/support system to provide continuity of care. Work Experience Experience working with children; new graduates welcome. Position Qualifications Bilingual English/Spanish a plus Effective written and verbal communication skills Customer Service skills SLP-IL License CPR Card CCC and IDFPR licensure required.
