Job Title: Supervisor – Sterile Processing
Location: Loxahatchee, Florida
Position Type: Permanent
Shift: Full-time, Days (No Weekends)

Compensation:

• $20.00 – $28.50/hr (based on experience)

Job Summary:

• Oversee decontamination, cleaning, assembly, and sterilization of medical instruments
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with healthcare regulations
• Manage staff and maintain high sterilization and infection control standards

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage staff scheduling and daily workflow
• Oversee quality control procedures
• Perform and validate sterilization testing
• Train and develop sterile processing staff
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission (JC), OSHA, CDC, and AAMI standards
• Manage instruments and equipment inventory
• Collaborate with hospital departments

Required Qualifications:

• CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) certification or equivalent
• High School Diploma or GED
• 2–3 years of sterile processing experience
• 1+ year of leadership experience

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of sterilization techniques
• Understanding of infection prevention protocols
• Experience with automated sterilization systems

Preferred Skills:

• Leadership and team management
• Strong communication skills
• Problem-solving ability
• Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams
