Responsibilities

Compass Intervention Center is seeking a dynamic and talented Patient Transportation Driver to transport patients to and from the facility as well as additional required appointments and outings. The driver must serve as an active supervisor, on occasion when transporting patients.

The Patient Transportation Driver provides transportation of patients to and from outpatient treatment daily in a safe and professional manner. Also, this position is available to provide transport for patients to and from medical and needed appointments. Effective communication with dispatcher and managing pre and post-trip inspections of vehichles. Must understand and be able to operate GPS devices and cell phones. Perform all duties as assigned by Transport Coordinator.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

• Drivers must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• TN Driver License with F Endorsement or Commercial Driver License required

• Physical Examination (at least as extensive as the Department of Transportation's Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration for Commercial Drivers)
