Registered Nurse (RN) – $63/hr – Night Shift Location: Yuma, AZ Job Type: Long‑Term Contract (State of Arizona) Pay: $63/hour Schedule: Nights | 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM 36–48 hours/week (alternating weeks) Monday - Friday Schedule Local Candidates Only Overview We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a long-term contract opportunity at a state-operated Veterans Home in Yuma, AZ. This is a stable, full-time night shift role supporting a skilled nursing/long-term care population. What You’ll Be Doing Administer medications and treatments as ordered within scope of practice Perform nursing assessments, including admissions and ongoing care planning Contribute to MDS assessments, quarterly reviews and care plans Monitor resident condition and respond to changes in physical or behavioral health Provide and assist with direct patient care, including ADLs as needed Communicate effectively with residents, families and interdisciplinary team Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reporting Participate in shift reports, training and process improvement initiatives Provide guidance and support to CNA/LPN staff as needed What We’re Looking For Active RN license in the state of Arizona At least 1+ year of experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a team-based environment Experience with geriatric patient populations highly valued Ability to adapt quickly in a structured, state‑run facility Required for Submission (Must Have Ready) Arizona RN License (active) Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card BLS (AHA preferred) Current TB test Why This Role Competitive $63/hr pay Consistent night schedule with predictable hours Long‑term contract stability Meaningful work serving veteran residents Structured clinical environment with team support Important This is a fast-moving position.
