Travel Med Surg RN - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday.

Job Description

The Travel Med Surg RN will provide patient care in a 30-bed unit, adhering to the floating requirements as needed. Core responsibilities include EKG, IV insertion, medication administration, Foley insertion, vital signs, assessment documentation, assisting with RSI, and conducting point-of-care testing (blood glucose).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care in a Med Surg unit.
• Perform various nursing procedures, including IV insertion and Foley insertion.
• Maintain accurate assessment documentation.
• Administer medications and conduct point-of-care testing.
• Assist with rapid sequence intubation (RSI) as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-2+ years of Med Surg experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Active RN license in the applicable state.
