Senior Project Manager - Data Center

SUMMARY This is a rare chance to lead construction for one of the largest and most advanced data centers in the country. As the Sr. Project Manager, you will guide mission critical electrical, cooling, power distribution, and IT infrastructure from concept through completion. You will be the driving force behind schedule, budget, quality, and team performance on a project that operates at massive scale and demands precision, leadership, and technical depth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct daily project operations, including planning, scheduling, procurement, cost control, and client communication.
• Serve as the main point of contact for owners, contractors, and end users, ensuring reliability of all critical systems.
• Manage budgets, subcontracts, invoices, and billings with accurate and timely reporting.
• Lead change order strategy, pricing, and documentation for fast moving data center requirements.
• Review RFIs, identify risks, and implement recovery plans to maintain schedule.
• Coordinate field teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflows and on time delivery.
• Enforce safety standards, project procedures, and contractual requirements.
• Support design build efforts and ensure installations match design intent.
• Build and mentor high performance teams capable of delivering complex technical work.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem solving abilities.
• Proficiency with project management software, financial tracking tools, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam.
• Experience managing large scale data center projects, including electrical systems, cooling, power distribution, and IT infrastructure.
• Background in estimating, cost management, procurement, and scheduling.
• Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast paced environment.

EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in construction operations, including at least 5 years on major data center builds or projects valued at 30 to 50 million dollars.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and large scale project delivery.
