Schedule / Job Type

Contract (4 Weeks) | 3x12 Nights | Every Other Weekend | No Blocked Scheduling | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department at a critical access facility serving up to 350 patients per month
• Operate within a 25-bed critical access environment where RNs are expected to be multifaceted and perform a wide range of duties with flexibility
• Float and adapt across multiple care functions as needed within the ED setting
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health records
• Adhere to facility dress code — solid-color scrubs required; navy preferred
• Orientation attendance is required and takes place on Tuesdays only

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid for practice in Nebraska
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• ACLS certification (AHA) required
• PALS (AHA or ENPC) required
• TNCC required
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Emergency Room, Med-Surg, or Charge nursing
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Local candidates (within 50 miles of the facility) are welcome to apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIHSS certification preferred
• CPI certification preferred
• SANE certification preferred
• Experience working in a critical access or rural hospital setting
