2nd Shift Sit-Down Forklift Operator $19/hr to $23/hr
Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operator to support a busy manufacturing and metal fabrication environment. In this role, you will safely move, stage, load, and unload raw materials and finished products while ensuring production areas remain organized and supplied for nightly operations.
Key Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift to transport raw materials, fabricated metal parts, and finished products
• Load and unload trucks safely and accurately
• Stage materials for CNC machines, welding stations, fabrication, and assembly departments
• Move oversized, heavy, and irregularly shaped metal products throughout the facility
• Remove finished products and scrap materials from production areas
• Perform forklift inspections and report maintenance concerns

Requirements

• Previous sit-down forklift experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, machine shop, or metal-processing environment
• Ability to safely handle large, heavy, and irregularly shaped materials
• Understanding of load balancing, weight distribution, and forklift safety
• Ability to read work orders, inventory labels, and shipping documents
• Strong attention to detail and reliable attendance
• Ability to work independently on 2nd shift

Schedule

Overtime available, often until 4:00 AM , with occasional Saturday work

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
