Grand Villa of Port Charlotte is seeking a dedicated full-time Certified Medical Assistant to support our residents' healthcare needs. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers with patient charting, documentation, and medical record management
• Support residents with daily health assessments and basic medical procedures
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure medical supplies are stocked and sanitized
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members regarding medical information
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers
• Monitor residents' health status and report any changes or concerns promptly
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards

Skills and Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
• Proven experience in a healthcare or assisted living setting preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and documentation standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and respectful demeanor
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
