Pay rate: $30.00 hourly

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 respite care for families of a child or adult with developmental disabilities
• Gastronomy tube (g-tube) care and feeding
• Take vital signs and administer medication
• Trach care (very rarely, do not need to have experience in this)
• Check blood sugar and administer insulin injection
• Seizure management – may need to give medication if ordered and ensure safety
• Document on nursing notes every visit
• Be a support to clients and their family members
• Monitor and report changes in client care and/or behavior

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in home care
• Active CA. LVN license
• CPR certification
• Physical within the last 6 months and recent TB test
• Clear criminal background
