Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a skilled nursing facility in Monterey, CA as a traveling Physical Therapist where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by APTA.
• Active California Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings preferred.
• Current documentation of required immunizations and TB screening per facility policy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with geriatrics, fall prevention programs, and restorative nursing protocols.
• Experience using electronic medical record systems commonly used in post-acute care.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 0800-1630.
• Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
• Guaranteed weekly hours: 36 per VMS position description.
