Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others? Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a traveling Physical Therapist where you’ll help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy experience required
• Current Maine state license required
• Valid driver's license, car, and auto insurance required
• Experience with adult patients including post-orthopedic surgery, post-surgical care, fall risk, deconditioning, and mobility issues required

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0800-1700
• Shift days: Monday-Friday
• Weekend rotation: 1 weekend every 4-6 weeks, Saturday and Sunday
• On-call requirement: No
• Coverage area includes Aroostook County
• Travel between patient visits may range from 50-100 miles per day
• EMR: Netsmart

The Greenbelt Walkway connects several neighborhoods and shoreline areas, and nearby Casco Bay Lines ferries provide access to Peaks Island and other bay destinations.
