Job Responsibilities:
- Prepares tissue for pathological tests including frozen section diagnosis, cytology specimens, muscle biopsies, ACE specimens, and renal biopsies.
- Photographs gross and microscopic specimens and assists in preparation of educational conferences.
- Performs postmortem examinations (<5 year). Addresses daily QAs and monthly QA Reports.
- Assist with gross description, dissect surgical specimens and prepare tissue for processing.
- Obtain biological specimens for analysis and perform special procedures.
