Job Title: Cath Lab Tech

Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 20 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year recent/strong cath lab experience required; will accept first-time travelers License: Active license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R and/or RCIS required Must-Have: - Cardiac implant closure device experience - Cardiac stent placement experience - Diagnostic cardiac catheterization experience - Interventional cardiac cath lab experience Description: The Cath Lab Tech will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The position requires a commitment to patient care and safety. The tech will be responsible for setup and operation of equipment. Strong communication skills are critical for collaborating with the medical team. On-call scheduling is required, with approximately 8 weeknights and 4 weekends per 6-week schedule. Weekend work includes pre-scheduled on-call requirements. The ability to float within the specialty and department as needed is essential. The tech will support a range of procedures, including percutaneous coronary interventions. Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias is a vital skill for this role. Orientation for the position will occur prior to the start of the contract.
