Accounting Manager Hybrid - Scottsdale, AZ, local candidates only please Up to $175,000 in compensation based on skills and experience plus bonus This is with a Public Accounting Firm and requires Public Accounting experience as well as an active CPA license. High-impact leadership role within a small, growing, boutique ( Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop a team of accountants; set clear expectations for quality, deadlines, and client service Act as a hands‑on contributor, supporting and reviewing client accounting work as needed Oversee outsourced accounting engagements including month‑end close, AP/AR, payroll coordination, reconciliations, and financial reporting Review financial statements, workpapers, and reporting packages for accuracy and GAAP compliance Improve processes, workflows, and close procedures; document client and operational knowledge Drive adoption of tools and systems to enhance efficiency and scalability Serve as a primary client advisor; lead meetings, present financial insights, and support decision‑making Manage multiple client engagements, timelines, and deliverables Requirements Bachelors or Masters in Accounting or related field CPA or CPA candidate highly preferred 6+ years of progressive accounting experience (CAS, public accounting, or multi‑client environment preferred) Strong technical expertise in GAAP, accrual accounting, and financial reporting Demonstrated ability to lead, train, review and develop accounting team members Proven experience improving processes, documenting workflows, building checklists and/or creating repeatable processes Must have experience in a public accounting firm Excellent communication and client‑facing skills Tech‑savvy; experience improving systems and workflows Experience with QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, Expensify, Gusto, Karbon, and related CAS technology platforms is a plus What You Bring Ownership mindset, urgency, and professionalism Ability to work independently while leading and aligning teams Focus on continuous improvement and scalable systems development Benefits QSEHRA - $500 tax free/per month for medical 401K with 3% match 20 PTO days 8 holidays plus the week between Christmas and New Year's Bonus #J-18808-Ljbffr CyberCoders
