About the Position

Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Virginia

Start Date: November 2026 (specific date dependent on EPIC training schedule)

Location: Northern Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 13-week assignment with rotating schedule as determined by department leadership. Call coverage of 3-4 shifts every 6 weeks (8 hours each). Must be available within 30 minutes/30 miles of facility when on call.

• Level II Trauma center experience with emphasis on trauma, neuro, and ortho spine cases
• 13-week travel assignment with potential for EPIC training dependent on experience level

• Orientation includes specialty-specific modules (up to 7 hours, non-billable)
• Floating only as required, in rotation with facility staff per Joint Commission standards

Requirements:

• Active Virginia or Compact state RN license (must be in hand at time of application)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Level II Trauma center experience preferred, with demonstrated skills in trauma, neuro, and ortho spine procedures
• EPIC charting experience required (OP TIME module); start date will be coordinated with EPIC training class schedule
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered per CMS guidelines)
• Flu vaccination required during flu season (October 1 - March 31; medical exemptions only)
• Must reside or be willing to stay within 30 minutes/30 miles of facility when on call
