We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a construction-focused organization in Chattanooga, Tennessee on an immediate contract basis with permanent potential. The right candidate will bring strong Excel skills, sound communication abilities, and a team-oriented approach to daily work. **This is an in-office position in Chattanooga, Tennessee** Responsibilities:• Record and update accounts receivable transactions in the accounting system with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.• Review invoices, payment details, and supporting records to confirm information is complete, correct, and aligned with company standards.• Investigate discrepancies in receivable data, identify root causes, and make corrections to maintain reliable financial records.• Apply cash receipts, support billing activity, and assist with commercial collections as needed to keep account balances current.• Contribute to month-end closing activities by completing assigned data entry and reconciliation tasks within required deadlines.• Manage a large volume of financial information while maintaining organization, consistency, and confidentiality.• Collaborate with teammates to balance workloads, provide support during peak periods, and help ensure departmental goals are met.• Communicate clearly with internal contacts regarding account questions, documentation needs, and issue resolution.Please complete an application and call View phone number on click.appcast.io for immediate consideration!
