Senior Program ManagerPosition Summary:Work Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm100% on-siteOur FDA-licensed, state-of-the-art CGMP manufacturing facility for Gene Therapies is located on the Harmans/BWI campus. The campus, featuring two manufacturing facilities is located 5 miles from the Baltimore Washington International (BWI) airport and 13 miles from our Baltimore location. The campus is close to Washington, DC’s I-270 Technology Corridor, top universities, and government agencies.Catalent Pharma Solutions in Harmans, MD is hiring a Senior Program Manager. The Senior Program Manager is responsible for ensuring projects are managed effectively and aligned with client expectations. This role oversees client contracts and leads the full project lifecycle—initiating, planning, executing, and monitoring.The Role:Lead and deliver program objectives within scope, timeline, budget, and quality expectationsEnsure adherence to sound project management practicesBalance multiple priorities with minimal supervisionManage cross-functional project teamsDevelop and maintain overall project plans and schedules (including tech transfer)Maintain collaborative, solution-focused communication with clientsProvide regular project updates and progress reportsMonitor milestones, budgets, and deliverables to ensure on-time, high-quality completionTroubleshoot issues and promote innovative, data-driven solutionsCoach and mentor other program managersStrengthen program management capabilities across the organizationApply project management expertise along with knowledge of biological sciences and financeDrive programs forward and overcome obstacles independentlyLead without direct authority and influence stakeholdersBuild strong cross-functional relationships and resolve conflicts effectivelyCommunicate effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholdersAdapt within evolving organizational and program structuresPerform other duties as assignedThe Candidate:Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering (required)Advanced degree (MS, MBA, PhD) preferred5–7+ years of direct experience in contract development or manufacturingProven leadership and management skillsWorking knowledge of: Biologics fermentation, Cell culture, Purification, Analytics (preferred)Experience in biologics (preferred)Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project)​The anticipated salary range for this position in Maryland is $118,720 to $163,240 plus annual bonus, when eligible.
