Registered Nurse ManagerThe Registered Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing all operations of ambulatory care, including finance, emergency response, customer service and regulatory compliance. The Manager works closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.The responsibilities and duties described in this job description are intended to provide a general overview of the position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Supervising and managing the clinical team members. This includes hiring, training and evaluating staff.Ensuring department is compliant with all relevant regulations and standards.Managing the budget, including staffing, equipment and supply costs.Collaborating with healthcare professionals to improve the quality and efficiency of the level of care delivered to patients.Recommending, implementing and evaluating processes to improve systems and patient care results.Recommending strategies to reduce costs and improve quality of care/service.Coordinating and maintaining the environment for assigned facilities, including performance and maintenance of safety check lists.Handling circumstances and situations not achieving patient/family satisfaction, reports to senior management as necessary.If applicable, based on the Affiliate needs and/or state requirements, serves as the Pharmacy Performance Improvement (PI) Coordinator which includes maintaining PI, annual and quarterly reports.Performs other position related duties as assigned.Employees shall adhere to high standards of ethical conduct and will comply with and assist in complying with all applicable laws and regulations.RN license and certification as required by state. BLS certification required. ACLS preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Delivers exceptional patient service throughout all interactions. Strong problem-solving skills. Skill in using computer programs and applications including Microsoft Office. Knowledge in healthcare systems operations such as EMR. Complies with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality. Ability to coach and build skills within the team. Complies with all health and safety policies of the organization.Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. BSN preferred.5 years' RN experience, ambulatory clinic experience preferred. 2 years' experience in a leadership role preferred.N/ACarrying Weight Frequency 1-25 lbs.
