Essential Duties and Responsibilities Patrol in and out of the plant, including off‑site areas Make visual inspections of property, employees, and vehicles upon entry and exit Use a scanner to record rounds Write tickets Direct or control traffic Do paperwork and keep logs Lock and unlock doors and gates Check for air and water leaks Maintain company vehicles Be courteous, polite, and respectful in all situations Assist employees with vehicle problems and directions Properly complete accident and incident reports Take witness statements Secure any scenes Respond to any situation (fire, medical, security) Assist in terminations or suspensions Assist in all recreation for visitors and employees Additional Duties and Responsibilities This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the Security Guard position and may be supplemented by additional duties assigned by the manager. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Experience with firearms Pass a background check Good driving records First Aid & Fire Training (preferred but not required) Education and Experience Military or Police Officer Training (preferred) Scope and Impact Position has recurring work situations that involve high attention to detail and service results.
