About the Position

Job Title: Ambulance Paramedic Profession: Nursing Specialty: Paramedic Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Varies - ALL Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 1 year of paramedic experience required License: Active Paramedic license in the State of Wyoming Certifications: Emergency medical certifications as required Must-Have: One year of paramedic experience Description: Provides direct patient care within the scope of license or under the supervision of a physician. Administers emergency medications in accordance with the rules and regulations of the State of Wyoming. Accurately performs complete population-specific patient assessments. Establishes care priorities and renders appropriate care. Accurately documents assessments and treatments of patients using the reporting system in compliance with state statutes. Ensures that ambulances and the station are maintained, clean, stocked, and ready for service at all times. Assists with medical treatment of patients in other departments under the direction of the provider and RN within their scope of practice. Prioritizes tasks and manages time, personnel, and resources to meet departmental goals and standards. Performs other duties as assigned. Position urgency: Rapid response crisis. Holiday coverage may be required.
