In this role, you will be central to a highly productive, international software development team building our flagship office software, Trimble Business Center (TBC). You will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with worldwide distributed hardware and software teams, aligning with various centers of expertise to integrate specialized components into cutting-edge solutions. Your work will directly empower professionals in Surveying, Construction, GIS, BIM, and CAD, making their jobs easier and solving critical real-world challenges.

Key exciting responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with team members to examine marketing requirements, guide, and propose innovative functional designs.
• Develop, test and maintain the software solution.
• Coordinate efforts with worldwide distributed hardware and software teams.
• Align work with our various centers of expertise, integrate specialized components into the software solution.
• Work in an Agile development process.

Essential skills and experience:

• Currently a third or fourth-year student pursuing a degree in a STEM or related field.
• Programming in C# and the .NET framework, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, to effectively collaborate with a globally distributed team.
• Interest or experience in using AI-assisted coding tools (such as GitHub Copilot or similar LLM utilities) to write and optimize code.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug code and systematically troubleshoot technical issues.
• Clear communication and teamwork skills, necessary for discussing software designs, participating in code reviews, and working across cultures.
• Looking for a full-time opportunity with the availability to commit with us for a year.

Bonus points for:

• Experience with optical survey, GNSS, GIS, CAD, Civil Engineering, 3D scanning or photogrammetry
• A strong math background
• Understanding of 3D graphics
