Work Environment

This role is fully remote, allowing the flexibility to work from anywhere within the United States. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health statuses to identify specific concerns and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Deliver individual therapy sessions employing evidence-based modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), customized to fit the unique needs of each client.
• Collaborate closely with clients to establish and revise therapeutic goals, ensuring ongoing monitoring and evaluation of their progress throughout the treatment process.
• Utilize secure teletherapy tools to provide virtual sessions for clients who may face challenges in accessing traditional in-person therapy, thereby broadening the reach of our services.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans to comply with ethical and regulatory standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development opportunities to stay informed on the latest advancements in mental health care and treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients range from individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and stress-related disorders to those navigating complex mental health challenges. As a therapist at Serene Minds, you will play a critical role in guiding clients from diverse backgrounds on their journeys toward health and wellness, using tailored therapeutic strategies that resonate with their individual experiences.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice independently as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• No limited or provisional licenses; candidates should also have no disciplinary actions on record.
• Demonstrated ability to make informed professional evaluations and recommendations regarding treatment planning and implementation.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to client interaction.
• Proficiency in using technology, including telehealth platforms and electronic medical records.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with teletherapy modalities and familiarity with digital health tools that enhance patient engagement.
• Knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices and a history of successfully improving client outcomes.
• A background working in community health or clinical settings, particularly with populations at high risk for suicide and mental health crises.

• Competitive annual salary in the range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 , contingent on your caseload and experience.
