Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist supporting a hospital in Kansas City, MO. You will evaluate and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders across acute care and inpatient rehabilitation. This role supports a Level 1 trauma and comprehensive stroke center and offers varied caseload exposure including bedside swallow evaluations and opportunities for video swallow studies. Minimum Qualifications Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA required. Active Missouri state license required to start assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings preferred. Experience performing bedside swallow evaluations required. Videofluoroscopic swallow study experience preferred. Familiarity with TIMS equipment and Meditech documentation preferred. Willingness to float between acute care and rehab units. Adherence to facility dress code: gray scrubs.

Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a Level 1 trauma center and comprehensive stroke program. Previous inpatient rehab (IRF) caseload management experience. Experience with diverse patient populations.

Assignment Details Shift hours: 08:00 - 17:00. Schedule: Monday through Friday with rotating weekends preferred but flexible. No on-call requirements. Floating required to cover both acute care and inpatient rehab.
