The Project Manager is responsible for overall management direction for construction projects. Responsible for all phases of the construction project including but not limited to managing employees, subcontractors, owner relations, quality control, safety, schedule and executing to the project budget. Time management, cost control, safety, quality assurance, and resolving all issues and conflicts that arise to produce quality work, in accordance with the project contract documents, is of utmost importance. Ensures that the project is completed on time, within scope and within budget. They will be an experienced manager of self-performance demolition construction projects, have strong client interface and communication competencies, and exemplary contract development, negotiation and management skills. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities Monitor and control project(s) budget and schedule. Prepare and report project(s) costs, progress, and forecasts. Establish and execute project work plans. Maintain open communication channels with client, regulator, or other stake holders Coordinate with Operations Manager and General Superintendent the allocation of shared resources such as personnel and equipment. Serve as company representative at required project meetings or hearings and prepare documentation, as necessary. Perform in depth review of all essential elements of projects assigned to identify challenges to mitigate or opportunities to realize. Supervise work performed to ensure it meets company standards and quality plan. Review drawings and specifications for constructability, completeness, and accuracy. Supervision of Project Engineers, Superintendents and Foremen, as assigned. Promptly respond to project ad-hoc needs. Enforce safety policies and procedures. Ensure all on-site compliance with project procedures, safety program requirements, work rules and company policies. Ensure contracts are sound, beneficial, and strategically negotiated Effectively and consistently lead clients and build and fosters good relationships. Identify risk and develop and execute mitigation strategies. Identify resolutions to contract, project, execution (including scheduling), and client issues Negotiate and strategize client and subcontractor scope changes. Participate in pre-construction, progress and planning meetings with project stakeholders Collaborate with construction & engineering stakeholders to plan, manage, procure and execute work for each phase. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent combination of technical training and/or extensive experience in construction, design, finance, and management required. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is plus.

Must have valid driver’s license with a clean MVR and ability to travel. 7+ years of project management experience in heavy construction, design-build projects, and managing multi-million-dollar projects. Demonstrated ability to thoroughly understand drawings and specification, general contractor & subcontractor documents, materials, means and methods. Proficient in contract administration, project scheduling, and revenue and cost management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Excellent understanding of industry practices, processes, and standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Demonstrates exceptional oral and written communication competencies. Experience in self-perform heavy civil construction. Proficient with software/internet-based programs Experience with subcontract scope development, review, and administration. Experience with material procurement. Proficient in MS Office applications.
