This role supports the delivery of rehabilitative care to help patients improve mobility, strength, function, and overall quality of life in inpatient and/or outpatient settings./ppKey Responsibilities/pulliAssist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans./liliProvide therapeutic exercises, gait training, functional mobility training, and modalities as prescribed./liliMonitor patient response to treatment and report progress, concerns, or changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist./liliEducate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and safety precautions./liliAccurately document treatments, patient progress, and outcomes in accordance with professional standards and regulations./liliMaintain a safe and clean treatment environment and follow infection control practices./liliCollaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support continuity of care./liliComply with all applicable state regulations, professional standards, and ethical guidelines./li/ulpQualifications/ppExperience Skills/pulliPrior experience in inpatient, outpatient, or rehabilitation settings preferred./liliStrong knowledge of physical therapy techniques and patient care principles./liliExcellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills./liliAbility to work effectively with patients of varying ages and functional abilities./li/ulpEducation/pulliGraduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program./li/ulpLicensure Certification/pulliActive Texas Physical Therapist Assistant license./liliCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification./li/ul/div
