This opportunity is for a Geriatrics Physician who wishes to operate an independent practice with MedCBO’s administrative support. Overview You will own and manage your own practice entity while MedCBO handles non‑clinical operations such as revenue cycle, payer contracting, EHR support, accounting, HR, and supply chain. Many physicians seek clinical autonomy but are deterred by billing complexity, staffing risk, payer contracting, and administrative overhead. This role offers a structured administrative framework with no prior business ownership experience required. Opportunity Description Start a new private practice Transition from employment to ownership Convert an existing practice to a supported model Relocate and establish a practice in a new market Physician Responsibilities Provide care within the specialty scope Develop professional relationships within the medical community Coordinate payer credentialing with MedCBO as required Determine clinical services offered Manage clinical quality and patient experience Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination Billing and collections management Payer contract negotiation Financial infrastructure and reporting Operational workflows and staffing systems Technology platform and implementation Requirements MD or DO with unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice Board Certified or Board Eligible in geriatrics Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice Interest in the independent practice model Preferred Desire for practice ownership Community‑based care interest Leadership or program development interest Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural).
