As the Glaze Line Operator, we need someone to operate the glaze line and inspect tile to produce the ceramic tile manufacturing process.Primary ObjectiveOperates the glaze line and inspects tile.Major Function and ScopeMonitors glaze line equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.Inspects tile for quality defects in the manufacturing process.Performs hourly quality control checks to ensure tile is within specifications.Operates powered industrial trucks to transport glaze to and from the glaze lines.Follows operating procedures.Keeps area safe, clean and organized.Performs other related duties as required.Experience and Knowledge RequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent experience.Manufacturing/production experience preferred.CompetenciesGood oral and written communications skills. Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. Accurate measurement capability. Ability to understand and speak basic English.Other Pertinent Job InformationWhile performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms.
