Registered Nurse Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide comprehensive care in a busy surgical and medical unit. Candidates will ensure optimal patient outcomes through skilled nursing interventions and compassionate patient interaction.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patients' medical conditions to develop and implement appropriate care plans.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and departmental policies.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changing clinical situations.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
  
  
• 
  Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records.
  
  
• 
  Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatments and post-discharge care.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active Illinois Registered Nurse license.
  
  
• 
  Obtain and maintain current CPR/BLS certification.
  
  
• 
  Possess ACLS certification for relevant units.
  
  
• 
  Have experience in medical-surgical or ICU settings.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  
  
• 
  Possess excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
