Express Employment Professionals is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembler to support business cell operations. This role is responsible for producing high-quality products that meet customer specifications and company standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform light assembly of fuel/oxy heating, welding, cutting, and regulation products according to specifications and procedures.
- Set up and operate machines, processes, and equipment as required.
- Conduct inspections, tests, and audits on products and components to ensure quality standards are met.
- Diagnose issues, perform repairs, and use appropriate measurement and testing tools to maintain product consistency.
- Ensure all parts meet specifications, finish requirements, and handling procedures using proper documentation.
- Follow proper storage, handling, and disposal procedures for materials, including hazardous materials when applicable.
- Assist with maintaining department supplies and consumables.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and suggesting process improvements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and perform routine/preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
- Maintain accurate department records in accordance with established procedures.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and productivity using the Quality Management System.
- Support core principles: simplify, focus, flow, empower, and trust.
- Set and work toward goals that align with company and departmental objectives.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- No allergies to oils, solvents, or related materials.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to a full shift).
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
