We're looking for a high-energy, self-motivated, industrial engineer to help us grow our market-leading position. As an Industrial Engineer, you'll be an integral member of the Indianapolis Carrier Excellence Team and work alongside industrial engineers, operations leaders and continuous improvement to ensure the production lines are balanced to improve flow and increase productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop strategic and tactical capacity models based on time studies and downtime analysis
• Design the layout for each work cell to promote flow and operator efficiency
• Analyze the current process to identify and remove waste
• Design flexible workstations to efficiently respond to fluctuating seasonal demand
• Split work content to balance each line and identify required labor to meet demand
• Define work content per cell and create visual standard work
• Define what material is required at each work cell
• Ensure all operators have all the training and materials in their new work cells to enable them to be successful
• Analyze current process to identify and mitigate ergonomic risk
• Maintain layout (in AutoCAD)

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years experience in an engineering capacity within a manufacturing environment

Pay Range

The annual salary for this position is between $64,500.00 - $129,500.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.

Other Compensation

This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
