• Conduct both basic and complex laboratory tests-covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, among others-following strict protocols.
• Evaluate test results for precision, diagnose technical issues, and perform routine maintenance and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen gathering and oversee the preparation of samples for analysis as required.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of all lab procedures, mentor new staff members, and uphold lab quality assurance standards.
• Ensure a safe, organized working environment, adhering rigorously to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Educational Background

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a comparable allied health discipline along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Needed

• Active ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is expected within the first year of employment.
• Ongoing maintenance of certification is required throughout employment.
